Casa Mirtha is located in the centre of Havana, one of the most fascinating cities in the world. The guesthouse is within easy walking distance of Havana University, The Revolution Square, Malecon Habanero where all young Cuban people gather, and it will take you just a few minutes by car to reach magical Old Havana.We have a beautiful and spacious house built in the early 30´s. Our B & B is located in the Havana neighborhood of El Vedado. This area is considered the heart of the city, hosting most of the banks, bars, restaurants, theaters and hotels in town. It is located between the barrios of Havana Vieja, Centro Habana, Plaza of the Revolution and Miramar.From our house, you can walk to the University of Havana, the hotel district, La Rampa aera, Coppelia ice cream parlor, the Malecon, the Revolution Square and many other tourist, historical and cultural attractions. Distances: 25 min from Jose Martí Int. Airport 10 to Old Havana by car or 25 min walk 5 blocks away from Havana University 7 blocks away from La Rampa, Coppelia and Habana Libre Hotel
We are a retired married couple in our 60´s. Our name is Mirta and Jorge. We live in our house with our young grandson Abel, a wanderful cook. We both have a mayor degree in Universal History. After retiring we decided to open our house to guests from all over the world showing them what we cubans know best, our hospitality and warmth.

Mirtha and Jorge are warm and accommodating hosts who were more than willing to call taxis,arrange tickets for bus tours,or just buy bottled water,if needed, when we first arrived. Casa Mirtha has lovely tiled floors, and a sunny,gated front porch where guests can sit. There is also a sitting area and dining room for guests where breakfasts may be taken. Our room was cleaned daily, had a very comfortable bed, an attached private bathroom with shower, a small frig, and TV. We appreciated the well-marked 110V wall outlets and free access to a phone. Casa Mirtha is in a quiet neighbourhood,a 15 minute walk to the University or the Plaza de la Revolution, and a 40 minute walk to old Havana. Otherwise, it was only 5 convertible pesos for a taxi to or from downtown. Our experience in Havana was very much enhanced by our stay at Casa Mirtha.
Meu nome é Cristian Bolner, fui a Cuba a trabalho e é claro que aos finais de semana fazia viagens. Bem, falar da Sra. Mirtha e Sro. Jorge é muito simples, são as pessoas mais amorosas e carismaticas que conheci. Em sua residencia me senti sempre como se fosse a minha casa. Hambiente, seguro, sempre limpo e com alimentação de primeira. Convido a todos que desejam visitar Cuba (Havana) seja a passeio ou trabalho que se hospedem na Casa sa Sra. Mirtha minha segunda avó.
